Will it fit my car?
The extender spans 132cm wide with side flaps out. It works in most SUVs, estates and larger family cars — anything with a rear bench wider than 130cm. City cars and small hatchbacks are usually too narrow. Email us with your car make and model if you’re unsure: fauna1.comm@gmail.com
Can I still use a seat belt or harness?
Yes. The headrest straps leave the seatbelt buckles accessible. A travel harness clips through normally. This covers the seat; the harness keeps your dog secured.
Is it actually waterproof, or just water-resistant?
The backing is fully waterproof. Rain, drool, mud and accidents sit on the surface and wipe off — nothing soaks through to the upholstery underneath.
How do I clean it?
Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry. Don’t machine wash — heat can affect the waterproof membrane over time.
How long does delivery take?
Free standard UK delivery, 5–7 working days. Express delivery available at checkout for £6.99, arriving in 1–2 working days.
Does it stop my dog getting dirty?
No. It protects your seats from a dirty dog — it doesn’t protect your dog from getting dirty. Muddy dog, clean car.
Can I remove it without taking the headrests off?
Yes. The straps use quick-release buckles. Pull the tab, unclip, fold it away. About 30 seconds.
What if it doesn’t fit or my dog won’t settle on it?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. If it doesn’t fit the car as described, we pay the return postage.
